New Urban Message Series!
This is a series of production prints that were made from an original hand-printed monotype technique. I created the composition by collaging in my own, edited photographs with fun washes of printer's ink. The photos were taken mostly in Portland, Oregon, but a few are from the Bay Area, and Seattle. So, the colors, imagery, and messages are are all Pacific Northwest inspired! Check them out! >>
Final Sell-off of Portland Sign Artwork
The City of Portland has trademarked the White Stag Portland Oregon Sign (TM). Their licensing requirements are unmanageable, so I am forced to phase out my products that include the sign. Once the current inventory is gone, I will not be producing anymore of this work.

"Processing the Big Pause" Series
As an urban photographer, I find my inspiration simply by walking. This series was created by photographs I took in 2020 where the urban landscape changed dramatically and people were communicating with handmade signs, messages, graffiti, murals, and marquees. It was a time where the urban facade had voices and I was there to listen, document them, and created a synthesis of the messages through photomontage into these compositions. Among the chaos, there were a lot messages of support, hope, togetherness, listening, and love...I see this decade as a time to shine light on the dark parts of society to bring out the light within us to make this world a better place.
