These postcards were made from original hand-printed monotypes. Basically, I created these compositions by collaging in my own, edited photographs with fun washes of printer's ink. The look and feel of the original handmade process truly creates Pacific Northwest Vibes of Portland, Oregon and the surrounding area. Also, the city is one of the best places in the USA to grow roses, so one postcard celebrates the city's nickname, "The Rose City" while asking you to slow down a bit, and "stop to smell the roses".
