Typically my photomontage work depicts the best of cities…I celebrate our urban landscape and how it reflects our culture and our shared experience. But in 2020, I was inspired to do something different..provoked by the government's support of individuals during the pandemic and BLM events of 2020. Does the government and our representatives see the individual or just corporate entities?
I started this series out as part of processing what is happening, but also in hope that we can learn from from this year and start to create better, more supportive systems.
